Our Fleet

We have a large, modern fleet of well equipped vehicles which is supported and maintained by our on-site fitters.

All our vehicles are fitted with mobile communications and onboard computers that link to the system in our control room. The journey details including clinical notes, route timings and mapping planned by our dispatch team can all be viewed on-board by the crew.

All of our ambulances are fully equipped with medical gasses.

Each of our vehicles is cleaned after every patient, cleaned fully at the end of the shift, and deep cleaned on a regular basis.

For peace of mind all of our fleet is covered by RAC recovery.

Wheelchair Accessible Car
(Medi-cab style vehicle) Crewed by a qualified ambulance assistant this vehicle is designed to transport a patient in their own wheelchair.

Wheelchair Accessible Ambulance
(with driver and attendant) Patient transport vehicle can transport up to two wheelchair patients and a number of sitting case. A number of configurations are available depending on requirements. All medical gases are carried.

Stretcher Ambulance
(with driver and attendant) Patient transport vehicle fitted with a stretcher. Can transport up to two wheelchair patients and a number of sitting case. A number of configurations are available depending on requirements. All medical gases are carried.

Specialist/Critical Care Transfers
Designed and constructed to cope with a Critical Care transfers with space for the complete range of mains powered equipment and a full ITU transfer team. (can be driver only if medical team travel)

Specialist Support Team
Kitted with the latest equipment and specialist staff who are trained in the safe lifting and handling of patients. This vehicle is used to support other ambulance crews where additional assistance is required. Also used to offer home assistance, for example moving a bed bound patient to another area of their home.

Rapid Response Vehicle (RRV)
Fitted with blue lights and sirens and driven by advanced drivers. Often used to transport specialist medical teams to critically ill patients. Urgent equipment and human/blood samples can also be transported under emergency conditions.

Emergency Ambulance
Fully kitted front line Ambulance that can be crewed by trained A&E staff many of which come from NHS trusts. Also used for patient transfers where emergency conditions are required.

Bariatric Ambulance
(With specialist support team if needed) Specialist vehicle fitted with full width ramp, specialist stretcher and wheelchair for patients up to 62 stone.

Ambulance Car
For patients who can travel by car but need assistance to and from their home or at the destination.

Air Repatriation Specialists
Working with Med-Air providers and insurance companies providing transport from airport to UK destination. We can also provide logistical planning and transport teams for European road transfers.

4x4 Response Event Vehicle
Fitted with blue lights and sirens and driven by advanced ‘off road’ skilled medics. Often used to transport specialist medical teams to critically ill patients in extreme weather conditions. Also utilised at outdoor events in order to access the harder to reach locations.
