Retrieval Care Assistant 

We are seeking a qualified drivers to join our Paediatric Retrieval Team. The Retrieval team operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and travel across the South West and Wales regions with Neonatal and Paediatric Intensive Care Teams to stabilise and retrieve children and babies to specialist care units. The role entails long drives as an emergency response and assisting the intensive care teams on access and egress from hospital intensive care units

It is essential for this role that you must have a valid emergency response driving qualification and C1 category on your driving license.

You must have a positive can do attitude and conscientious about ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained and thoroughly checked. This role would suit an emergency care assistants looking to obtain experience in an intensive care setting or may suit an experienced ECA who was previously frontline and now wanting a slightly slower pace of life!

Minimum of two years emergency driving experience. The rota is four on days, four off, four on nights, four off x 12 hour shifts.

Training and uniform will be provided. An enhanced DBS will be applied for for the successful applicant.

Salary (Based on 40 Hour contracts): £25,500

Salary (Based on 42 hours), 4 on 4 off rota: £26776
